Grandma Hendrickson's 90th Birthday

On March 13th we celebrated Grandma Hendrickson's 90th Birthday with friends and family. She was born March 10, 1920.


This is Grandma with her parents the Rev. Ernest & Irma Shaw and her 2 younger sisters, Bernice and Lois. They have both passed away in the last 7 years.

1938- Grandma told me that this was actually the morning after their wedding, they got dressed in their wedding finery and posed for 2 pictures in her parents front yard.

    That was neat to see those pictures of her life. I was sorry to miss her party.

    I finally caught up on your blog. I enjoyed your posts and appreciated what you had to say.

    Would love to do a girls' night again sometime. :)

    Ok, first of all, the blonde curly hair runs deep in the gene pool. Secondly, my grandmother was named Lois and she had a cousin (?) named Bernice May. Pronounced Burn-is, emphasis on the Burn. Not Ber niece. You know? Ah, country folk.

    I love old pictures.
